Compliance & Human Rights

Eight commitments that constrain what this platform will do.

These are not aspirations appended to a business model. They are the conditions the model is built to satisfy — and several of them deliberately limit what the platform is willing to undertake.

Scope
Applies to every programme, candidate and institution.
Precedence
Where these conflict with commercial interest, these prevail.

The Framework

The eight principles in full

01

Lawful Recruitment

Compliance with applicable laws.

All recruitment activity is conducted in compliance with the applicable law of every country involved — the country a candidate is recruited from, the country whose government authorizes the programme, and any country in which training is delivered. Where an activity is not lawful in any one of those jurisdictions, it is not undertaken.

02

Government Authorization

Military appointment remains with sovereign governments.

Military appointment, enlistment, rank, command, discipline and deployment are exclusively matters for the sovereign government concerned and its authorized military institutions. The platform holds no authority of this kind and does not seek any. No programme proceeds without explicit government authorization, and any government may decline any candidate at its sole discretion.

03

Human Rights

Respect for fundamental human rights.

Respect for fundamental human rights applies to every person who participates in or is considered for a programme. This includes freedom from forced or compulsory labour, freedom of movement consistent with lawful contractual obligations, the right to retain personal identity documents, and access to a route for raising concerns without detriment.

04

Ethical Recruitment

No exploitative recruitment practices.

No exploitative recruitment practice is acceptable in any programme. Candidates are not charged recruitment fees as a condition of consideration; contractual terms are disclosed before commitment rather than after it; and no intermediary may impose conditions inconsistent with these principles. Recruitment conduct is a condition of participation for every party in a programme, not only for the platform.

05

Non-Discrimination

Lawful and professional selection criteria.

Selection is made against lawful, professional, role-related criteria — qualification, competence, medical fitness for the specific role, and the eligibility conditions the authorizing government has set. Criteria that are not lawful and role-related have no place in the process.

06

Privacy

Appropriate protection of personal information.

Screening for aviation roles necessarily involves sensitive personal information, including medical and background data. That information is collected only where a stage genuinely requires it, used only for the purpose it was collected for, retained only as long as necessary, and protected in a manner appropriate to its sensitivity.

07

Security

Appropriate access-control and data-governance measures.

Access to candidate and workforce information is controlled by role, so that each participant — government, institution, administrator — sees only what its function requires. Data governance covers handling, retention, correction and the audit record of who accessed what and when.

08

Transparency

Candidates should understand applicable programme conditions.

A candidate should understand, before participating, what the programme involves: what is being assessed, who decides, what is guaranteed (nothing), what the conditions of service would be, and what happens if they are not approved. Clarity at the start is a protection, not a formality.

Precision is a standard held continuously, not a claim made once.

Explicit Limits

What this platform will not do

A compliance page that only lists commitments is incomplete. These are the specific things the model rules out.

  • Supply combat forces, mercenaries or personnel for foreign wars.
  • Deploy, command, task or direct any military personnel.
  • Supply weapons, munitions or military equipment of any kind.
  • Deliver operational combat training or tactical instruction.
  • Charge candidates recruitment fees as a condition of consideration.
  • Promise employment, enlistment or guaranteed acceptance.
  • Operate outside a government-authorized framework.
  • Claim government customers, partnerships or endorsements it does not hold.
